The Dark Tower was a television series that would have been an adaptation of The Dark Tower Series written by Stephen King, starting with the events of Roland's flashback in Wizard and Glass. At the time of it cancellation, the series was in pre-production.

Cast

Production

Glen Mazzara would have serve as executive producer and show-runner for the series, while Akiva Goldsman and King himself would also serve as executive producers.

The show was to be shot in Croatia. Stephen Hopkins would be directing the pilot.

Other crew included Nick Gillard as the stunt coordinator, Nathan McGuinness and Jason Ramsey leading the visual effects, Kurt van der Basch the storyboard artist and Adam Squires as the supervising art director.
