The Dark Tower is a television series that is an adaptation of The Dark Tower Series written by Stephen King and serves as a prequel to the 2017 film of the same name. The series is currently still in preproduction and it set to premiere on Amazon Video.

Production
Glen Mazzara will serve as executive producer and showrunner for the series, while Akiva Goldsman, King himself, Nikolaj Arcel, Brian Grazer, Ron Howard and Jeff Pinkner will also serve as executive producers. The show is set to be shot in Croatia.
