Engineer Bob Brooks was the train conductor of Charlie the Choo-Choo. When Charlie is put out of comission by Raymond Martin, it is suspected by Jake Chambers that Engineer Bob sabotaged the Burlington Zephyr that replaced Charlie.
After Charlie was reinstated, he and Bob rode until the day Bob died.
