DARIA, NCP-1436345-AN was a GPS (Global Positioning System) Device created by North Central Positronics that Tim Ross was given in The Wind Through the Keyhole. Tim believed her to be a spirit trapped in the device. Although she was a GPS, she gave Tim some rather human-like responses, which is shown in a major way when she overrides her own programming. Daria is silenced when she overrides "Directive 19" to help Tim. Andy, also a NCP product, is limited by "Directive 19" also when asked about certain topics in Wolves of the Calla.
